Finally Waves is out! This song is the first one released by Alex Nauth with his new band Cool Life, composed by himself, Cole Walsh-Davis, Sam Duff, Kamak Hiresh and Chris Harrison. After Foxy Shazam’s sadly disbanded on 2014 Alex Nauth joined the band The Skulx and kept working solely with them until the announcement of Cool Life band creation took place.
It was on 15th January that the band made the first mention to this debut song, and kept posting teasers on their social media, each time more revealing but leaving their fans with a huge intrigue.
On the 25th of the same month they revealed there was a special guest to this song. It wasn’t until four days ago that the special guest was revealed to be Eric Nally, and the date for its final release was given, the 13th of July. Today we are amazed by this song and the awesomeness of the video.
For all foxy fans it’s fascinating to see Eric and Alex together again, combining their voices once more to make something so majestic. It feels as if our dream had come true and Foxy Shazam was back.
But that’s not the point, with Cool Life going on and Eric’s career continuing we will never forget Foxy’s magic because it’s still alive in their voices. We wanted to thank Alex Nauth for making his new band so amazing and Eric Nally for helping him with his unmistakable energy.
